Icons (at the top of the page) can be dragged onto the map to designate and comment on specific areas of interest, feel free to place multiple markers per category. Categories are as follows:

  •  Like It! - Identify things in the city that you like and think Johnston should continue to do or have more of.
  •  Needs Work! - Identify things in the city that you think could use a little help or need change to make them better.
  •  Place to Gather and Socialize - Identify areas of the city that are great for gathering and socializing. These can be restaurants, shopping centers, parks, etc.
  •  Barriers to Biking and Walking - Identify physical barriers that prevent you from walking and biking more around the city. These could be steep hills, highways, trail gaps, dangerous crossings, etc.
  •  Place to Take Visitors - identify areas in the city, besides your home, where you take out of town guests to showcase the place you live.
