The City of Otsego is in the process of developing a master plan for Prairie Park. The park has served as the main community park for almost three decades. Several planned and proposed projects in and around the park, including the planned construction of new city facilities, have led to the need for a park master plan that is based on community and stakeholder input. The master plan study kicked off in August of 2023 and is anticipated to be completed in July of 2024. 

Using the feedback collected in Phase 1 of community engagement, two concepts have been created. Each of these concepts integrates ideas in regard to public restrooms, athletic facility enhancements, parking needs, and playground improvements. Feedback on these designs will be collected in person at the Touch-a-Truck event (May 14th) and online through May 28th.
