The 2040 Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the City in 2020. The City is now required to modify its zoning regulations to be consistent with the direction that was already established in the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan direction includes changes to the zoning districts around the future bus-rapid transit stations (BRT) along Snelling Avenue, the neighborhood around Lexington and Larpenteur Avenues, and the commercial district along Rice Street. Potential changes may include uses, density, and development character. Additional information for each area can be found by selecting one of the neighborhoods on the left. Input can then be provided by selecting one of the icons located across the top, dragging it to a location on the map, and providing comment.
